The persistence of memory is invaluable. Memory serves as a repository of our experiences, storing everything that life presents to us. Life unfolds in various ways, encompassing events we may wish to forget. Yet, these memories can persistently resurface, causing us distress. On the other hand, there are memories of joyous moments that we hold dear. These memories are treasured possessions, safeguarded not only in our minds but also in tangible forms such as photographs, tickets, and gifts. While we may desire for our memories to be solely filled with positivity, true memory reflects the complexities of human existence, encompassing both good and bad experiences.

This image was created on Fabriano graphic paper using a mixed media technique, incorporating a unique printing method – monotype. The vibrant orange background was hand-painted with acrylic paint, adding depth and contrast to the portrayal of the figure.
