About This Piece

After months of cold silence, the peaks awaken — water flowing again. What I wanted to catch is the contrast that makes spring in the mountains so alive: snow still lingering in hidden crevices while wildflowers open in full colour just below.

Those white patches read almost like brushstrokes against dark stone, patterns that sharpen the ruggedness of the terrain. Winter melting and spring waking in the same frame — the resilience of nature made visible.

And the sky completes the mood — wispy clouds bringing serenity, heavier grey ones bringing drama.

This is my landscape theme as renewal: two seasons, two forces, meeting on one slope.

An original drawing. Signed.
