One of a Kind

ORIGINALS ONLY · NEVER REPRODUCTIONS

When a painting leaves this studio, it will never exist again.

Every canvas is singular — no prints of it, no reproductions, no second version. Each monotype is exactly what its name promises: printed once, in an edition of one to four impressions at most, and the plate can never repeat itself — I value the technique precisely for that serendipity. My linocuts exist in small numbered editions, each impression cut and printed by hand, each carrying the small variations that only handcraft leaves behind. Even the sculptures — steel and wood, the wood sourced from the forests around Boxholm — are built once.

This is not a marketing promise; it is the arithmetic of a working studio. A lifetime’s output is finite. Four decades in, I know roughly how many paintings a year leave this room — and it is not many.

For the collector, this means something quietly significant: the work on your wall exists nowhere else in the world. It is not a taste you share with a thousand strangers. It is a chapter of one artist’s life that belongs, permanently, to yours — and to whoever you one day pass it to.
