About This Piece

A man alone — and never quite alone. However far he turns toward solitude, another figure stays with him, refusing to let him go. Whether that's comfort or constraint, I leave for you to decide.

The idea behind it is simple and hard to admit: we all want more — more intimacy, understanding, empathy, love. These are what make a life feel whole, and yet they're the very things we rarely speak about. It's a strange paradox, staying silent about what matters most.

This is one of Double Portraits, a series of nine graphics built around that quiet truth — that we need someone to share a life with. The series has been featured in publications and major galleries.

A signed, original print.
