About This Piece

The sky opens each morning like a theatre curtain. This drawing catches that moment over cultivated fields — the light spreading across the horizon, turning ordered farmland into a patchwork of glowing shapes.

What drew me is the meeting of two hands. Farmers cut the land into rigid lines, geometric divisions imposed on the earth. Then the sun rises and softens every one of them. Human design and natural light in the same frame — neither winning, each changing the other. Even in black and white, that contrast between our order and the sun's grace is the whole subject.

So it isn't really a view. It's a meditation on how we live alongside nature: reshaping it, and being quietly overruled by it every dawn.

A fragment of a fleeting moment that will never repeat the same way.

An original drawing. Signed.
