Superwoman – Every Day Magic

Everyday Magic is an artwork from the Superwoman series. Throughout this series I portray women held in contrapposto. Her arms turn to the left and upward, as if reaching to grasp something, while her legs seem ready to wander to the right. Yet her face looks straight ahead, calm and full of trust. This is a woman who creates magic every single day. In some inexplicable way, she manages to weave together countless tasks at once. Her strong presence brings a sense of security — the certainty that whatever is needed will be handled and delivered by her. She is the sorceress of everyday life.
