Timeless Body

The relationship between man and woman has run through art for centuries, across drawings, paintings, prints. You could ask whether there's anything left to add. I felt the urge to add my voice anyway.

In my version, the two figures are drawn in opposite languages. The woman's silhouette is soft and fluid, surrounded by diluted ink that spills organically around and within her, giving her an ethereal delicacy. The man's is sharp and bold in white — a striking counterpoint to her gentleness.

And where they overlap is the heart of it: their silhouettes cross and merge, a sign of unity and interconnectedness. Soft greys meeting thick blacks, light against dark, two ways of being held in one frame.

So it's individuality and union at once — two timeless beings, drawn in pen and ink. Signed.
