About This Piece
Children dream of growing up before anyone teaches them to — they sense the freedom waiting in it, the independence and discovery. And that same upward longing runs through everything in nature. Every spring, leaves unfold, buds bloom, and the whole forest reaches toward the light, guided by an unseen rhythm that knows exactly when to grow.
Standing among the trees, you feel that rhythm in yourself. It stops being merely physical and becomes something emotional, even spiritual.
That's what this painting holds. It's abstract — bold strokes and vibrant tones suggesting leaves, stems, and blossoms surging upward in the wind. And it grew the way its subject does: layer by layer, each brushstroke movement and progress, until it felt alive.
So the child's wish and the plant's reaching become one language. Some see nature's cycle here, others their own becoming.
An abstract oil on canvas. Signed.
