About This Piece

A nude woman stands before a vibrant, growing plant. The warm tones of her skin meet the lush green of the leaves, and the contrast quietly celebrates the same thing in both of them: life unfolding.

Growth is the most omnipresent force we have, and the one we understand least. We plant, we tend, we harvest — cooperating with a rhythm of seasons we never fully command. And there is a deeper parallel I keep returning to: just as a plant develops in its growth zone, a new human being forms, miraculously, inside a woman's body. Two versions of the same secret.

That's what the painting holds — the human form and the growing plant set side by side, balanced between realism and abstraction, until you can't quite separate the two. A person in nature, and nature inside a person.

An original painting. Signed.
