Pink Color as Shelter

A woman sits in the foreground, wrapped in soft layers of pink that close around her like a refuge. The colour isn't decoration here — it's shelter, a sanctuary from the grey of ordinary days, a place to take cover and breathe.

Pink carries more than its reputation suggests. Beneath the tenderness is real strength: compassion and resilience held in the same hue. Behind her, an abstract structure in pink and blue adds weight and contrast — the blue steadying the warmth, openness against comfort. So the colour both softens the scene and braces it, shield and beacon at once.

Painted in oil, so the pink shifts through subtle transitions of light and shadow, never flat, always moving.
