Art drawings – introduce black and white art in Your Living Room Decor

Art drawings are illustrations that depict various forms of art. While this may initially seem redundant, as the drawings themselves are considered art by their creators, the term “art drawings” takes on a new meaning when applied to depictions of nature. Nature, in its entirety, can be viewed as one colossal masterpiece. It can be dissected and appreciated in fragments, providing an abundance of inspiration for artists worldwide.
The three drawings presented here were crafted during the summer of 2020. As I strolled through the forest, I gathered fragments of bark from trees of diverse species. Each piece possessed its own unique carvings and surface textures, acting as a testament to its mother tree, which it protected with its outer layer – the bark.
In my artistic process, I was thinking how to draw them. I thought first about pencil drawing, but then I chose my favourite technique – pen and ink, I sought to uncover the underlying rules and logic governing the construction of these natural finds. By simplifying the complexities of biological matter, I aimed to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for it. The pursuit of beauty is a worthy endeaovor indeed. These art drawings, with their delicate black frames, can be arranged as a decorative set adorning the walls of living rooms, offices, or any public space. Through these framed windows, the artist-nature gazes upon us, inviting us to marvel at its wonders, bringing peace in mind.

Who Carries the Woman, Who Carries Everyone?
There is a word we reach for when we want to say the highest thing about a woman. Not beautiful, not accomplished, not kind — though we mean all of those. We say: superwoman. I have been thinking about that word for a long time.

Supergirl – Woman of Tomorrow
The woman in this painting faces two directions at once — present here and there, needed in both. A monotype-and-collage reflection on the word "superwoman": who invented it, who it serves, and whether women ever asked to be super.
