Bookcase filled with art

Bookcase filled with books about artists
When I write about a bookcase filled with art, I mean, in fact, a shelf filled with books about art. Of course, such books are indeed present in my living room. Furthermore, I like to look at the clean lines of their colourful spines, which, consequently, form a vertical pattern – an image in itself. Additionally, often turning to books about my favourite artists give me much inspiration. Specifically, the books in which the work of a chosen artist is extensively discussed.
In particular, I appreciate where I can read how he lived and how his work developed. Moreover, numerous illustrations of his works from throughout his creative period give an idea of the development of his art. At the same time, the book creates a space in which this artist is very much present. As a result, I feel as if I am entering his studio. Ultimately, it is very exciting and informative, and it adds a unique character to my bookcase, showcasing these treasures.
Popular books about popular artists in my ikea billy bookcase
Unfortunately, publishing houses repeatedly publish books about the same group of artists. In fact, publishers do not risk publishing about unknown artists. Instead, it is better to "praise the already praised" and repeat well-received and popular themes. Consequently, several of the items of this type are on my shelf. Moreover, I invariably admire the art of Pablo Picasso. For me, he is undeniably a giant of innovative form. Whatever he touched—indeed, he transformed—in his recognisable language of forms. Furthermore, my bookcase prominently displays several works on Picasso, thereby adding significant value to my collection of books on a bookcase.
Books about contemporary artists
Of course, art is still in practice, without respite, by contemporary artists. The outstanding ones have lived to see monographs about themselves in book editions. These publications do nit circulate widely and may not be as popular as the ones I mentioned earlier. Books on Giuseppe Penone, Miriam Cahn, or Marlene Dumas - to name my fascinations - are available for purchase in museum or gallery bookshops. When I visit these places, desire is overwhelming me to buy at least half of the books on offer there! And of course, it is not possible. And besides, if I could, I would find it difficult to make choices. Fortunately, the internet makes it possible to see everything "whatever the heart desires" - in the field of art. Contemporary works also fill my bookcase, showcasing the diversity and evolution of artistic expression and well-organized book collection.

Abstractionism in art – Black sunset
Within this painting, one can still observe the abstract mosaic of the landscape, shaped by human intervention. The fields bear the marks of man’s plowing and pattern-making, which the earth has gracefully accepted, acknowledging their inherent beauty. As the sun sets, it casts its last muted rays of light, almost appearing black.
